I speculated a few days ago about a furry Chekhov's Gun. And in the last panel ...

Perhaps Klaus was happy to see Othar because:
(1) He's been given commands that would force him to kill Othar.
(2) He knows that Othar always survives. Othar has obscenely thick plot armour (lined with cavorite).

Therefore he knows that he'll somehow be prevented from carrying out his commands.

Ooof. Klaus (and Grantz) do have a lot of experience at restraining Othar ... temporarily. I wonder if any of these delays will be long enough to let the possibly delicate project in the tank fail. Probably not dramatic enough for the story.

So Klaus and Martellus haven't met before? Interesting.
