Agatha is rapidly running out of witnesses to mass murder who aren't her minions (though Wooster and Rakethorn probably still count in Albia's eyes, and possibly some of the resident sparks who backed away early survived). Vapnoople and the purple visitor are the only ones left ... and neither is a terribly convincing witness.
Also, if Albia granted Vapnoople asylum at Krosp's request, flinging him into an unknown other dimension is unlikely to go over well.
So which of the various parties converging on the dome will arrive first, and who will accuse whom of what?
Krosp has a moral compass and was rather horrified at Vapnoople's behavior. He has a strong sense of Noblesse Oblige and considers Agatha to be his subject whom he is responsible for. He is somewhat conflicted but he will protect Agatha.
Aside from how they react to the situation, I wonder how Gil and Trelawney are going to react to Seffie (and vice versa)? Seffie was working so hard to get Agatha hitched up with Tarvek so she could get a clear shot at Gil, and now she'll suddenly see Trelawney as a threat, too. What's she going to do about that?
