Oddly enough, this is the second thing that happened in Paris that has been forgotten. First was that Agatha was told that they only had about 2 years to free Mechanichsburg from the time field, and now this.
As Al Capone said "Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three times is enemy action."
If anyone is going to be at Capricon in Chicago this weekend, please ask Phil.
...I can plausibly see the double-up on telling Agatha about Mechanicsburg, since Higgs may not have been aware that Jenka had already passed her the info at that point.
They're gonna hafta work to explain Tarvek and TinyKestle, though... >:)
The mini-Kestle probably has forgotten the incident. A bot that small doesn't have much room for memory storage. And I suspect Europa's hard drive technology isn't as advanced as ours, even though they do have the edge in death ray technology.
Mini castle has enough memory to hold an apparently sentient intelligence, but not enough to remember meeting someone less than a month ago? (Remember, Krosp left just before Paris and Agatha said its been less than 3 weeks since then.)
She didn't give a lot of details, since the strip hadn't officially posted yet.
The reading consisted of two sections from the next novelization--Phil read the ringing of the Doom Bell, and Kaja read the Castle exploration of the seraglio, the fight with the nepenthe plant, and the beginning of the fight between Higgs and Zola.
There was time for Q&A afterwards, but nothing particularly juicy came up--just some minor stuff about Violetta's fate.
ETA: The radio play Friday night was a hoot, though.
