Who is that behind Tarvek? Have we seen her before?
Now that Colette is getting more acquainted with her father's power, I think the screaming throughout the city is her--either from her father's death or from her painful acquisition of his knowledge.
Now we know why she wasn't with Voltaire; she can be more useful to him where she is. The question now is whether she's right that he's still alive. Presumably she believes he is because she's directly connected to him by way of the city.
Despite the "Meanwhile...," I'm not sure if this is happening at exactly the same time as Monday's strip. I'm guessing it's a little earlier, based on the city lighting and that it starts with Tarvek's reaction to the destruction of Andronicus' weapons.
