(A helpful hint: You can manually adjust the date and time associated with your post so that it appears on the nominal day of the comic that it references. That will make things easier for readers and cut down on duplicate posts.)

We still don't know why Colette, at least, didn't stay with Voltaire. Perhaps it will turn out there was a reason. Or perhaps she did stay, and she's responsible for whatever just happened. The Library may also have been involved, given the tearing up of the pavement.
Getting back to that southern hemisphere sky, perhaps it was symbolic, as in "the world turned upside down"?
Drusus said "the method is important." There was something behind his action beyond the petty act of stabbing a dying man in the back.
Is it my imagination or has an extension of the road appeared where a building used to be? Yes, having the street and sidewalks repaired and Voltaire's body tidied away (I doubt he is dead if the city is doing this.) but having a street appear is a little weird. (Though this reminds me very strongly of der Kestle's rearranging things to suit it.)
Looking forward to seeing if this is an automated system or if Beausoleil's efforts are pretty much a non-starter.
The angle of the staff in the street is reversed from the last story page, so the viewing angle has changed. I think Beau went down to the intersection to look a different way at the procession, and now he's looking back toward where he was.

I did too!
Okay, I'll delete my post. But you can still change the date of your post to Wednesday if you edit it. That will make the calendar nice and tidy. ;^)

A lot of questions remain to be answered.
