I said that Jaron annoyed Dupree when he gave her a slight cut. I was wrong. He impressed her. But either way, he looks likely to end up dead or captured.

If Dupree has her way, certainly. But Gil may have a different opinion. Getting dead people to give information takes more work.

I've kind of assumed that doing anything useful with a dead body (full re-animation, head in a jar, whatever) required some specialist equipment only available to the most powerful of sparks. I'm not sure Gill would have that equipment nearby all the time.
Still, I'm sure he could just pack Jaron's head into some ice until he got back to Castle Wulfenbach.
