Is that Olga's regenerated body? How many more biological Lucrezias are running around? Or is overwriting people turning out to be problematic, so they've gone for the blank slate?

Those two look like Van Rijns.... Either they're 200+ years old or Tarvek has some Explaining to do

Lucrezia or Klaus may have built them. Lucrezia had access to first Van Rijn himself and later the prosthetic body Tarvek made.

There's a bit more gilding than one sees on the muses and a Mongfish crest just below the neck.

I think Klaus came out of town recently, so that's another reason to think Lu made these herself.

Oh! Back when Lucrezia was transcending, she was adorned with script-L symbols for "Lucrezia", but haloed in representations of the Mongfish crest!

Huh. So far the fishies always pointed counter-clockwise. On these “scary clank ladies”, clockwise. Is this a mistake or there’s some significance to it?

At first I was skeptical of the idea that the clank bodies were Van Rijns, but then I recalled that Orotine came to mechanicsburg, and has blue eyes and blond hair. (cf 20240226) So I had to take the theory seriously.

Having looked closer, I think we can exclude the possibility that Orotine was a Lucrezia sleeper. Orotine consistently wears a flowing dress that conceals most of her design, so I can't say whether she has the distinctive feet we see on this page. It would also hide the mongfish crest. However, I do think that her arms look somewhat different, and we can see enough of Orotine's neck so conclude that it is not the stacked gold rings on this page, and I feel that is conclusive.
