I checked, and it looks like Agatha didn't bring her wasp eater. She could possibly check revenants by giving a sufficiently angry command.
I'm holding the possibility that it's the captain who's wasped and the rest of the squad is clean, but I think it's less likely. The captain could have killed Gil, if that's what they're after.
The injured guy certainly seemed "off", gloating about how Gil's companions didn't know where to find him. But that seemed more in line with the people who were voluntarily following the Other, rather than those who were following orders imposed via being wasped.
That’s also in line with the Black Squad being utterly confused about the current situation and who is supposed to be on which side. Which was quite likely. And/or with being a baseline human subjected without adequate protection to whatever turned Lu (and possibly will turn Vapnoople after his bad trip… or maybe already did long ago) completely bugnutz even by standards of the madmen. Which was even more likely, in light of this guy somewhat losing human shape.
That should not be what they are after if they belong to Lu. Considering the entire “strategy” of her minions is use mind control to get more under mind control. If they belong to one of her usurpers, who knows. But they were kind-of-trapped for longer than Zola was “Queen of the Dawn”, so that’s unlikely too.
