I am a bit puzzled by the necklaces. In GGverse, they denote allegiance, and I've never seen those.
The bears had necklaces of similar color, but differing designs, while these wolves have unified necklaces:

Also, sparkhounds have blue eyes (http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20141217), or (http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20131118), but no necklaces.

Would it be possible these are some sparkwolves of piratical descent?

But Tybalt is a werewolf (which I assume is different) and he has blue eyes and no goggles http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20141128 and http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20141217

Yet these wolves all appears to have goggles http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20131118

Either way I'd say Martellus has both created and sent these guys, so we are now seeing the latest chapter in the Bad Things Happen To Tarvek story.

Hmmm, seems you are right about who sent them and what they are...

I don't believe Tybalt is a werewolf though. The knights of hunt can all take the human form when they are using the professor Eg's nerve enhancing armor. http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20141121
As soon as they shed it, they lose the human appearance and become wolves again.
So Tybalt is just the leader of the pack.
