Continuity issue: Monahan was in Lucrezia's left hand on Monday. In today's first panel, she's in her right.

I believe that we are in for at least one more page of table-turning between Lucrezia and Monahan, but also now they are quite visible to the creatures running rampant on the island.

Either something else interferes, or Lucrezia will try to pursue the fleeing "insects" and that's when her power-up shuts down.

The rats may target her, as well.

The venomous rats aren't likely to be as effective against a clank -- they'd have to get past her metal exterior and gnaw on some critical components, not just bite her.

Lunevka's back to smooth lines and blue glow without the irregularities and purple/green markings of the contaminated runoff -- possibly she found a different pool of "effluvia" away from Monahan's control system and cleaned/charged up? On the other hand, the flame in her crown in the first panel is gone by the third -- might she, like Snacky, have used up too much of her available power and left herself vulnerable?

Ordinary rats can chew through metal conduit, given time, and in the meantime they'd be distracting Lu while Our Heroes do something.

The rats could impede her through sheer mass. She could burn them, but that can cause other problems.

Hmm ... Remember when we first met Albia? Reducing her size caused her to heat up by compression. Now Lunevka is the size of the Statue of Liberty, but what might happen if she shrinks back to normal size?
