According to the Girl Genius Twitter feed, "Phil has just had surgery on the shoulder connected to his drawing hand, and he's still strapped into an arm sling and a perpetual ice machine." The tweet also includes a drawing he did with his left hand.

Phil is a better artist with his left hand than I am with either hand -- or with both hands together, for that matter. Still, I suspect that before the surgery he thought he'd be more adept than this.

Alas, he's going to be in that sling for several weeks. Let's hope that "several" is a small number. Perhaps Experiment #1 could be called in to refine Phil's sketches?
