Significantly, we don't get to see the face yet. Agatha's? Lucrezia's? Someone else?

I doubt we'll ever see the face. I think the characters would have noticed if it was significant to the plot.

They've turned on the room lights. I don't see anything else.

Not the room lights -- the room (library?) labels. Higgs and a bear are on the first balcony, and either another bear or a giant rat (... unlikely?) and I'm not sure what but maybe Agatha built it are on the third balcony cleaning off the lights above the archways. I bet those are like the marker Agatha asked Higgs to inspect on the previous page, and Neena will be able to read them, or at least some of them.

Would the "giant rat" be our stranded airman?

Upper-right of the last panel, just under the statue's arm. If it's the stranded airman, his outfit got a lot less detail than Higgs' outfit two tiers below and only slightly larger -- I'd've expected to see some of his striped shirt and bare midriff. My guess is it's intended to be another bear, but the brown bear (first balcony, between Agatha and the statue) looks more bear-shaped to me. ETA: three bears: dark brown, light brown, and dark grey, of which the dark grey bear fell to the rats. That's a night/storm scene, so the colors might look different in the underground light -- the lighter brown bear might read as light grey?

What do you think? Does his disguise work that much better from behind? I'd thought the scent was a key factor.

Agatha is standing inside a circular railing that blends into the first floor colonnade. A railing that wasn't in the earlier panel.
