It could be! (Black Squad, though)

I'll note that the Black Squad had a castle with wings (Wulfenbach regalia), though the one member who had significant speaking lines mentioned he was a native Mechanicsburger.

And yeah, today's page had me scrambling back to Book 8 to look through the Black Squad's original appearance.

I think Discworld Noir is the only PC game I've ever played through all the way. So sad that it only works on Win98. :(
