The past couple of pages read as if the Foglios want to help new readers catch up on all the interpersonal maneuvers. Filtered through Krosp's opinions, of course.
Seffie interested in Gil? I'd missed that. She's a lot smarter in the people department than Martellus, whatever Krosp may think.
As for Krosp's opinions - he seems to underestimate Agatha, Gil and Tarvek ("lost without me", "idiots", etc even though they've done amazing things with limited resources). I think his arrogance is going to trip him up big time, and probably it'll be Martellus taking advance of it.
Yep. And in her second appearance, she proposes for what is apparently one of many times: https://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20140502 Of course, she does say there that she's not in it for the romance, but there's some stuff in Paris that I'm not going to dig up right now that suggests there is emotional involvement.

Hmm. I'm not sure whether I think that's more likely or the other way around, although I would attribute the possibility to a different aspect of arrogance.
So far Krosp's arrogance in terms of his own status and ability and talking down certain humans is usually played affectionately for laughs as a Cat Thing. Things that might be inexcusably contemptuous in any other sapient character's mouth are funny partly because of all the widespread running jokes about cat attitudes. His dignity (or Agatha's) gets bruised now and then, but when things get serious, he's a positive and/or surprisingly savvy.
On the other hand, while there's potential for the comic cattitude to turn bad, I think he and Martellus are -- to some extent -- taking each other seriously as opponents in where each of them acknowledges the other is skilled but thinks he himself is definitively better, and that has the potential to go badly haywire for either or both of them. And it alarms me that Krosp ate stuff that Tweedle gave him and that Tweedle uplifted that other cat.
Krosp met Seffie when she rode to rescue Agatha from Gil's tar-bots, argued with Violetta and left Martellus out cold for Gil. Which was… less subtle than her usual style. He wasn't even there when Seffie was pulling strings to introduce her Lollipop Hairdo, only when Albia pushed her to invent this [sugar-] high fashion.
