Agatha has done the "sneaky eye" before. I don't see Lucrezia's matching this. I'm more concerned about the containerized Lucrezia and who gets possession (and possibly possessed).
So ... the addition of the copy-and-capture systems are out in the open. What are the other small improvements that Albia installed in Gil's memory, and who's implementing them? Trelawney? If she's helping Agatha, will Agatha notice? If Gil's making those changes, and Agatha and/or Tarvek notices and questions them, how will that fall out?
Trelawney presumably knows that the Klaus overlay has been removed from Gil ...
The Klaus overlay certainly thought Albia had tweaked Gil's memories. She could certainly also have tweaked Agatha's at some point, but at least when they were introduced, Albia appears to've gone for straightforward bribery as quite effective. I wonder what her range is for that sort of thing ...
My thought is that the "small improvements" may include some kind of constraint on Agatha, placed at the same time Lucrezia is removed. Perhaps what Bester once called an "Asimov" on B5, that Agatha may not harm Albia, nor by inaction allow her to come to harm.
