Maybe a little, but I suspect that Agatha, having been the low girl on the totem pole at the university in Beetleburg for a long time, has a lot of practice getting sparks and scientists to talk to her about their work (in condescendingly small words, sometimes, but it still gets her data).
Not unlike her mode of charming constructs who are used to being ordered about by every spark in the vicinity.
