He's probably got other plans and responsibilities now: 1, Re-establish the rule of the Storm King across Europa, 2, Find and kill Tarvek, 3, Choose a color scheme for the nursery....
I'm sure that line about 'our children' was not entirely a joke. Marty is impressed with Agatha, and he takes the legend of the Storm King seriously (like Tarvek does).
